Penza, 15 July 2016. PenzaNews. The heads of the areas’ administrations of the Penza region should personally monitor the harvesting campaign in the Penza region. This opinion was expressed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev during the meeting held in the regional government on Friday, July 15.

“We should not be waiting for favourable weather conditions. Machines should start working in the fields as soon as crops are ripe. In the Penza region, there are enough elevators and grain dryers to bring the crop to the right condition, but it should be gathered first,” the region head said.

He added that the heads of administrations should be in close cooperation with the heads of agricultural enterprises and personally visit the fields.

As the press service of the government of the Penza region told the news agency PenzaNews, Ivan Belozertsev proposed not only to track the pace of work in each municipal area but also carry out comparative analyses with other regions.
