Penza, 24 April 2016. PenzaNews. The police have accused a 23-year-old Saratov region citizen of committing several acts of pickpocketing in Penza city.

The officers first paid close attention to her after the young woman pulled a purse with 4,000 rubles from an elderly woman’s handbag left unattended in one of the city’s shopping centers, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

“The police conducted a detailed study of CCTV recordings and confirmed that the young woman with a criminal record was involved in the incident. She was detained,” they said.

According to the police, the suspect is also involved in stealing a purse from a salesman of a shopping store on Moskovskaya street.

“She confessed to the crime, and now faces criminal cases on theft,” the press service clarified.
