Penza, 13 June 2016. PenzaNews. A 47-year-old Penza citizen lost 99,000 rubles to a fraudster in an attempt to order a sewing machine from Yalta online.

“The man found an ad of his interest on Avito.ru website, and called the designated contact phone number. He then negotiated with an unidentified man to buy the machine and transferred an advance payment to the bank account,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior informed PenzaNews. <42/33/54% >

The man still did not receive the ordered machine, they noted.

“The fraud is now investigated under a criminal case. The police are identifying the culprits involved in the crime,” the press service said.
