Penza, 16 January 2022. PenzaNews. A Penza resident, who stole food worth about 3,000 roubles from a selling area of the store, may face imprisonment for a term of up to two years.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Penza region, the security manager filed a theft report.

“In the course of investigative proceedings, the criminal investigation department identified a man born in 1980 as a suspect in the crime. The perpetrator gave a confession,” the press release says.

It also states that the criminal case was initiated on this fact under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft.”
