“The first film screening, featuring the film Detropia with Russian localization, will be held at 17.00 of February 6. This film received numerous awards on international festivals,” Maria Lvova-Belova, chairman of the Penza civil organization “Blagovest,” director of “Kvartal Louie,” wrote on her Facebook page.

The film tells the viewers why a family leaves the city of Detroit every 20 minutes, how they demolish the abandoned houses, and the origins of electric automobile production in the city.

“In addition, you will get an opportunity to discuss the film in a convenient and intellectual impromptu discussion,” Maria Lvova-Belova added.

The film is 1 hour and 30 minutes long, and the screening will be free of charge, she explained.
