Penza, 9 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Lermontov Penza regional library will hold a musical meeting “Sergei Prokofyev. Genius of the 20th Century” on Wednesday, April 13.

The event will be dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Russian and Soviet composer.

The concert will involve teachers and students of the city’s musical schools, who will perform children’s instrumental creations written by the composer using a variety of instruments.

Moreover, the event will include an viewing exhibition of the library funds “The Fiery Angel” dedicated to the life and works of Sergei Prokofyev.

The musical meeting is scheduled to begin at 15.00, says the website of the Lermontov Penza regional library.
