Exhibition marking 800th anniversary of Alexander Nevsky’s birth opened in Penza

Penza, 29 May 2021. PenzaNews. The Pages of Russian History exhibition, timed to coincide with the 800th anniversary of the birth of Prince Alexander Nevsky, started at the Penza Governor’s House.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Penza region, the exhibition includes over 100 works of art from the collection of the Penza Art Gallery. These include paintings and graphic works, a sculpture, military uniforms and book publications.

The exhibition consists of six blocks and is arranged in chronological order.

The first guided tour for visitors of the Governor's House was given by Dmitry Bushmin, deputy director of the Savitsky Art Gallery in Penza.
