Among the participants are representatives of local government bodies and entrepreneurship support institutions, as well as businessmen from Zarechniy, Sarov, Shezhinsk, Novouralsk and other forbidden towns.

Welcoming the audience, Vyacheslav Gladkov, head of city administration, expressed his hope that the forum will prove to be immensely useful.

“All the forbidden towns have the same big problem – non-diversified economy, and it can be solved only with small and medium enterprise (SME) development. Therefore, we need to work on creating favorable environment for SMEs in our cities,” the mayor noted.

He wished the participants fruitful work and new ideas to make their projects come to life.

The forum participants were also greeted by Aleksei Kostin, Minister of Investment Development and Business of the Penza region.

According to Zarechniy Communications Departament, the issue of co-partnership between the business community and the government is planned to be given special attention during the event.
