Winter camelina harvesting being completed in Penza region

“As of Tuesday, July 22, 21,470 hectares are harvested. The total sown area of winter camelina is 29,950 hectares,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry spokesperson clarified that the total yield of winter camelina at the reporting date amounted to 16,660 tons.

“The highest rate of productivity — 17 quintals per hectare — was registered in Serdobsky area,” the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza region noted.
