Penza, 26 August 2014. PenzaNews. CJSC “Bashmakovsky bread” is proceeding with the construction of a logistics center for storing and redistributing potatoes and vegetables in Shiryaevo village, Belinsky area of the Penza region.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture told news agency “PenzaNews,” each line of the logistics center is a pre-sale preparation complex for potatoes and vegetables with the capacity of 15 thousand tons. Each complex is made of 6 arched storage warehouses for 2.5 thousand tons of goods each, which are connected to a processing gallery with sorting and packing lines.

“The project is a part of a major economical regional program ‘Creation of logistics centers, to ensure the sustainable development of potato, vegetable and fruit and other agricultural industries in the Penza region in 2014-2016,” the department noted.

The press service explained that this program provides for the reimbursement of 30% of the costs for construction (reconstruction, modernization), the purchase of machinery and equipment for sorting and storage preparation, processing equipment and lines for processing, packing and storage, refrigeration, ventilation and climate control system.
