Penza, 27 October 2014. PenzaNews. Vasily Bochkarev, governor of the Penza region, reported about his search of investors for the construction of a water park in the city during his press conference on Monday, October 27.

“Currently we have a signed agreement on construction of two new Lenta LLC hypermarkets. Possibly, we can encourage this investor to build a water park along with them via administrative means,” Vasily Bochkarev said.

“If the company loses profits on the water park, it will benefit through trade, and vice versa,” the head of the region added.

He noted that the water park should be constructed altogether with a shopping and entertainment complex that includes a hotel building.

“It is complicated so far, but we need it,” the head of the region said.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, a memorandum of agreement between the Penza region government and Lenta LLC on the construction of two more hypermarkets in Penza by October 1, 2017, was signed at the International Investment Forum in Sochi on September 19, 2014.
