Nikita Mikhalkov calls nowadays education policy an evil

The current education policy of the state has shapen to be a great evil, suggested Nikita Mikhalkov, People’s Artist of the RSFSR, chairman of the Russian Cinematographists Union, during his meeting with the students and professors of the Penza State University on Thursday, May 19.

After Doctor of Economy Nadezhda Chernetsova asked him to state his opinion on the education in the USSR and the modern Russia, Nikita Mikhalkov noted that the current terms are quickly shifting in time and speed of progression.
“As you know, Mr. Jobs […] who invented the iPhone – he prohibited his children to go online,” the filmmaker said.
According to him, Steve Jobs “realized the power it has” and that the capability to find the information you need in mere seconds “gives you the right to abandon remembering things.”
Also, during his answer, he touched upon the topic of same-sex marriage, and suggested that “Europe is betraying its own ideals.”
“When Europe […] allows to sanctify same-sex marriages in the church, this is a movement […] towards gradual destruction of the humankind,” Nikita Mikhalkov said.
