According to him, the roundtable discussions held over the past few months resulted in a list of main recommendations for the college education modernization.

“Most employers find it necessary to create basic colleges for a variety of fields on the basis of the Penza multidisciplinary college. According to them, this change will simplify and further the cooperation process with a number of new communication formats to emerge,” the minister said.

As Alexander Voronkov explained, the first state of the reorganization process will be concerned with making certain multidisciplinary college departments bigger to later transform them into field colleges, which will serve as foundations for production and education clusters during the second stage.

Also, he added that the project to create “professional sampling centers” will be a general concern for all new production and education clusters.

“These centers will be mainly concerned with helping children finding their professions. […] Secondly, they will give them an opportunity to try their skills at various levels of difficulty. They will focus on senior school students, university freshmen and sophomores,” said the regional Education Minister.

According to the Education Ministry chief, one of the main expected results of reogranization is the emergence of a profession incubator that would create additional opportunities for transforming the education into the dual format.

As Alexander Voronkov noted, one of the recommendations that came from the employers is also related to creating incentives for businesses to cooperated with colleges more closely.
