“The trial chamber for criminal cases of the Supreme Court, having reviewed the appeal of the convict, rejected it,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”
She reminded that, according to the position of the public prosecutor, “Belinsky maniac” was sentenced to life imprisonment in the penal colony of special regime.
As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, Alexander Bychkov killed nine people in the period from 17 September 2009 to 25 January 2012. He lured his victims — people who abused alcohol and had no permanent place of residence — in solitary places, where he killed them with a knife or a hammer, then dismembered the corpses.
