The deputy of Penza City Duma of the fifth convocation, a member of the party United Russia Oleg Tyugaev who was in an international list of wanted, and who was arrested in Italy, will be delivered to Penza and taken in custody after the decision of the extradition is made. This was announced by the Senior Assistant of the Head of Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division Lyudmila Fomina on Wednesday, July 3.

“Earlier, the Regional Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia made a decision to hold him as a defendant, and the court chose to take Oleg Tyugaev in custody,” the agency interlocutor explained.

She added that he was arrested by the law enforcement authorities in Italy as a result of complex operational-search activities undertaken by the staff of the National Central Bureau of Interpol, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
