Penza, 9 July 2014. PenzaNews. A 32-year-old resident of the Penza region will stand trial on charges of sexual assault against an 8-year-old girl.

According to investigators, the crime was committed in March 2014 in one of the settlements in the region the name of which is not disclosed in the interests of the child.

As the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews,” the girl is the daughter of the mistress of the accused.

“The investigation took the man in custody. Currently, sufficient evidence was collected, and a criminal case with the confirmation of the indictment was forwarded to the court for consideration on the merits,” the agency interlocutor explained.
