Mobile phones stolen from orphans confiscated from Mokshansky area resident

Spassk, 22 January 2015. PenzaNews. A 22-year-old young man residing in Mokshansky area of the Penza region is suspected of committing robbery and fraud against the residents of the Spassky orphanage.
“The preliminary investigation found the attacker openly and brazenly stole a mobile phone from one of the orphans. Afterwards, the police received a report about another incident — the man obtained another mobile phone belonging to a different orphanage inmate through deception and lies,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews agency.
According to the police, the suspect confessed to the crime, and the stolen phones were confiscated.
“The incidents are currently being investigated. We are deciding on opening a criminal case,” said the officials.
