Penza, 22 June 2015. PenzaNews. The traffic police of the Penza region have detained 73 people for driving drunk in the Penza region over the past weekend, June 20-21.

“28 of them were caught as part of the ‘Drunk Driver’ prevention campaign that was held in the region on Saturday, June 20,” the press service of the Penza region traffic police informed PenzaNews agency.

They added that driving while drunk or a refusal to be tested for blood alcohol content is punishable with a fine of 30,000 rubles and a driving ban for 18 to 24 months.
