Penza, 16 March 2016. PenzaNews. One man has been reported dead and one injured after a petrol tanker has caught fire on Austrina street in Penza in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 16, Elena Fedoskina, deputy head of the information and public relations department of the Penza region Ministry of the Initerior, told PenzaNews.

“The details and background of the incident are under investigation,” she clarified.

Originally, the people living in the vicinity, on the outskirts of Penza, had reported an explosion.

The regional EMERCOM headquarters also confirmed the information about the petrol tanker incident, yet added that the details are yet to be learned.
