Penza, 14 April 2016. PenzaNews. The police have accused a 17-year-old Penza citizen of hijacking a VAZ-2109 which was parked by an apartment building on Raduzhnaya street in Zasechny, and subsequently causing a traffic accident.

A private security force has been dispatched to the hijack area after receiving the description of the car, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

“While searching around the crime scene, the police found the hijacked car on Lunnaya street that was abandoned by the hijacked as it ended up in a traffic accident,” they explained.

According to the police, the officers learned the distinguishing features of the culprit and soon detained him in the yard of an apartment building on Svetlaya street.

“The young man was brought to the police station for questioning. The hijacking is currently under investigation,” the press service said.
