The Penza police are conducting a pre-investigation check of the death of an eight-year-old boy who fell from the window on the fifth floor of an apartment building, Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

According to her, the tragic accident occurred in the evening of Friday, May 27.

“We have established that the boy was alone at home, as his mother went away for business,” she clarified.

As Lyudmila Fomina added, the police check will seek to establish the full picture of the tragic accident with a proceeding decision to follow.
