Bus hits 12-year-old Penza girl on her birthday

Penza, 24 June 2016. PenzaNews. A little girl born in 2004 has been hospitalized after she was hit by a bus in a traffic accident next to Arbekovskaya street, 173 in Penza on Thursday, June 23.

The girl was celebrating her birthday that day, the assistant head of the information and public relations office for the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department Elena Fedoskina informed PenzaNews.

“The Peugeot bus steered onto the sidewalk and hit the underage girl,” she explained.

A dispatch of three EMERCOM rescuers was sent to the accident location: they provided first aid to the girl and helped transfer her to the ER.

The traffic police is yet to investigate the incident.
