Penza, 14 August 2016. PenzaNews. In 2016, new ambulance vehicles will be delivered in the Penza region according to the RF Government Decree of August 10.

According to the document, the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation allocated budget funds in the amount of 3 billion rubles for the purchase of emergency medical vehicles this year. They shall be delivered to the regions in the amount of 1,317 units, as well as to the institutions of Federal Biomediacal Agency of Russia in the amount of 40 units.

The suppliers are Russian producers: LLC Automobile Plant GAZ for class B cars with rear-wheel drive, LLC UAZ for class B with four-wheel drive, and LLC Ford Sollers Holding for C class with front-wheel drive.

As the annex to the decree states, the Penza region is planned to receive 5 ambulances class B with rear-wheel drive, and 17 class B with four-wheel drive.

The state adopted decision will allow partial updating the regions’ ambulance fleet.
