Penza, 29 October 2021. PenzaNews. More than 2 800 people are on oxygen support in Penza region. This was announced by acting deputy chairman of the government – minister of health of the region Vyacheslav Kosmachev, when commenting on the current situation regarding the spread of coronavirus during a meeting of governor Oleg Melnichenko with representatives of the business sector, held via video conference on Friday, October 29.

“Large quantities of oxygen are consumed daily to provide oxygen to all patients who require this type of therapy. As of this morning, we have 2 836 people on oxygen support,” he said.

Vyacheslav Kosmachev added that 16.5-17 tonnes of oxygen were used daily in Penza region.
