The chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement “For Human Rights” Yuri Voblikov, who was dismissed from the candidates for the position of mayor of Penza, expressed his outrage over the fact that he was not allowed into the hall where other candidates presented their programs to the members of the committee.

The human rights activist has to wait for the committee decision in the corridor with a policeman next to him.

Yuri Voblikov had to speak with journalists through glass doors.

According to him, he was not let in allegedly due to lack of TIN certificate, which he deliberately refused to register, and a military ID card.

However, the human rights activists considered these reasons to be made up.

“I want one thing — to receive an explanation on why I was not allowed inside. I know that this decision can be appealed in court, but it will be possible only after the committee finishes its duties,” Yuri Voblikov said.
