“I didn’t have a chance to hear every single thing said at the forum, as I was present only at the final part, and sat there sad and nervous. The President was in a difficult situation — he could not say what I am about to say. None of the speakers said a single word about children, pupils and students, about the problems a child faces. They spoke about themselves, asked for more money and reduction of work. Beyond that, part of the speakers expressed no patriotism — endless self-flagellation and scourging of the state,” Vasily Bochkarev said during the meeting with regional media journalists on Tuesday, October 21.

“Everything’s bad here. If it's bad, let's make it better,” the head of the region said giving the example of successful experience of China, where the people achieved everything through their own work.
