Penza, 28 January 2015. PenzaNews. The first parliamentary practice lesson 2015 took place in Penza City Duma on Wednesday, January 28.

The students of Lyceum No. 55 visited offices of deputies and employees of the state institution, and had a chance to talk to Roman Petrukhin, deputy chairman of the City Duma, and Ivan Krasnov, deputy from the district No. 25.

The school students learned about the history of the Russian parliamentary practice, and inner workings of the State Duma, the Legislative Assembly of the region and the City Duma.

Alexander Antonov, chairman of the Public Youth Council under the Penza City Duma, told the students about the basic principles of this advisory body.

Afterwards, the visitors had an opportunity to ask their questions to the officials.
