The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev reminded the deputies about the approaching end of his term as the governor as reply to Lyubov Ruzmanova, member of the regional Legislative Assembly committee on social policy, who expressed her readiness to continue working under his leadership after Vasily Bochkarev’s report on regional government activities in 2014.

“Thank you very much, and we are hoping to continue doing fruitful work under your leadership and improve professional and overall education in the region,” Lyubov Ruzmanova said.

“Thank you, but my term is running out on the 25th [of May]; there will be a new acting governor before the September elections,” Vasily Bochkarev said.

After all the questions to the head of the region were answered, the deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly unanimously voted in favor of the motion to approve of the governor’s report, after which they proceeded with the agenda.
