Penza, 13 September 2015. PenzaNews. The high numbers of young adults coming to vote in Penza shows they thought about the gubernatorial election and are ready to share the responsibility for the future of the region, the Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev told PenzaNews agency on Sunday, September 13, after casting his vote. The official voted at the polling station No. 109 in the school 77 on Antonova street.

“I was glad to see my children, grandsons and granddaughters coming with me – we come from different polling areas, but in the same school – and a nephew with his wife too. Apart from them, I’ve seen many more young adults come to vote,” the speaker said.
The GPZ-24 residential area develops quickly, and the school No. 77 acts as an attraction area for the locals, Victor Kuvaytsev added.
“Our youth thinks about the future and seeks to take part in it. […] They understand they will help the development of the regional center – Penza – by choosing the future head of the region,” the city head pointed out.
According to him, the region as a whole and Penza in particular still has a number of issues that requires a united effort of municipal and regional authorities to resolve.
“These include the apartment building management issue and the restoration of the municipal public transport,” Victor Kuvaytsev explained, adding that the authorities also must pay attention to the general city improvement and make the Sura river embankment a proper face of Penza.
“This is great money, and the city will not manage that without the region. So we actively vote as well. We ask our relatives, friends, colleagues, and, of course, all the citizens. You need to take part in the vote, choose it for yourselves and share the responsibility for the future,” the city head stressed.
After a PenzaNews agency reporter asked Victor Kuvaytsev about the wishes to the future governor, he said he would like to wish the soon-to-be region head sound health.
“First of all, he must see the responsibility coming from the votes of the people and seek to implement all his plans and, of course, all wishes of the citizens,” the speaker concluded.
