Penza, 16 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Yuri Krivov has submitted a request for his early resignation to the city head Victor Kuvaytsev.

“This took place about half an hour ago. The reasons and details behind this decision by Yuri Ivanovich [Krivov] are so far unknown,” an anonymous source in the Penza city hall informed PenzaNews agency.

According to Article 32 of the Penza city charter, the City Duma makes the decision on early resignation of the mayor.

Yuri Krivov’s notice is expected to be reviewed during the 14th extraordinary City Duma session scheduled for Wednesday, November 18.
