Penza, 1 December 2015. PenzaNews. Yuri Krivov has been appointed deputy chairman of the Penza region government, announced the head of the region Ivan Belozertsev during the regular meeting session on Tuesday, December 1.

Yuri Krivov will be managing the issues of general and professional education, employment, social security, and culture, he clarified.

On 16 November 2015, the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev invited the then Penza mayor Yuri Krivov to work in the regional government; on the same day, the city manager has submitted an early resignation notice to the city head Victor Kuvaytsev.

The City Duma deputies unanimously supported Yuri Krivov’s resignation during the November 18 extraordinary session.
