In the morning of Friday, December 11, he told the journalists before the contest committee session that his main objective is to monitor the situation.

According to Ilya Antropov, he is a social activist who does not promote himself but rather pays particular attention to everything that happens in the field of politics.

When he was asked the question about the secrecy surrounding his participation, Ilya Antropov explained that other candidates and him had an agreement to keep their identities unannounced for as long as possible, but they did not keep the word.

Before the beginning of the contest committee session, the deputy Alexei Shuvarin and the City Duma deputy chairman Ivan Krasnov tried to get into the committee room, but they encountered a temporary obstacle in the form of a security guard who declined to let them in.

This caused an outrage by Alexei Shurvarin, who demanded the security guard to show the documents that gave him the authority to protect the hall.

“I’ve got nothing to say, ladies and gentlemen,” he told the journalists who gathered in the hall.

After a short while, the deputy was eventually allowed in.

All members of the contest committee entered the room shortly after 10.00, while the candidates stayed in the hall, acting calmly without talking to each other.

The first to be summoned in by the committee was the deputy head of the Zheleznodorozhny city area Oleg Denisov, followed by the head of the Leninsky city area administration Yuri Chipchiu.

The session is currently ongoing.
