Penza, 23 May 2016. PenzaNews. The turnout during the United Russia party primaries before the State Duma election reached 10.77% in the Penza region.

Overall, 221 primaries polling stations worked on Sunday, May 22, between 8.00 and 22.00. After the time ran out, the calculation committees began counting the votes.

As a result, the turnout reached 10.88% in the Penza single-mandate area, and 10.58% in the Lermontovo mandate area.

The biggest turnout – over 20% – was registered on three polling stations in the Kameshkir, Issa and Bessonovka areas.

According to the United Russia party branch website, the vote went as expected with no incidents.

The results of the primaries will be announced in the nearest future.
