The event brought together over 700 participants, including 92 State Duma deputies, over 100 deputies of regional parliaments, and more than 220 municipal deputies and heads of executive bodies.

Georgy Kamnev’s speech on new citizen relations solutions used by the Penza Communists took place immediately after the main report by the CPRF leader Gennady Zyuganov.

According to a number of experts and observers, this fact was not a coincidence, as Georgy Kamnev managed to significantly improve his political activity in the Penza region over the past year and initiated a number if successful projects that find approval even on the federal level – in the CPRF Central Committee.

In particular, the people’s cooperative “Tovarisch,” which received praise from Gennady Zyuganov himself, was once again mentioned at a Communist Party congregation, and attracted genuine interest from other CPRF members. According to opinions by many of them after Georgy Kamnev’s speech, the young, ambitious and dedicated local leaders like the Penza region CPRF branch head are the people who form the firm foundation for successful development of the Party through generating ideas that are easy to adapt and implement in any Russian region.

The CPRF audience was also greatly agitated and pleased after Georgy Kamnev expressed his opinion that creation of people’s cooperative “allows us to demonstrate an alternative to capitalism and market economy” and “this real activity follows our ideology.”

“If we develop the cooperatives movement, we can make a working man’s life significantly less expensive. He will have more money for rest and recreation, education, and cultural development. We eliminate the unnecessary intermediaries who buy and sell, and people get cheap foods,” Georgy Kamnev stressed.

He also added that the people who are joining the people’s cooperative are not “from the creative class who are satisfied with the life,” but the people who were forced to save money by any means possible and know the true price of hard work.

Moreover, Georgy Kamnev pointed out that the Penza Communists are carefully studying experience by others, including by CPRF and other parties, which resulted in a number of projects, such as “People’s Expertise,” and the Communal Services and Healthy Lifestyle schools.

“If we want to win, we must employ the Party’s collective mind to solve our common goals. The website 2016кп.рф is now up and running. We are carefully monitoring the contents of the website. It is a database where we can find ideas worth working on. We express our gratitude to its creators. But we need another step forward. We must implement the best practices in all regional branches through the federal level,” the leader of the Penza Communists explained.

In particular, he spoke in support of creating a Communist Party wide committee to study and disseminate positive experience of simple and yet effective solutions that would allow to significantly improve lives of people living in regions.

“This committee must function as a project center by selecting universal and effective measures and creating the basis for implementing them in regional Party branches. It must include mobile groups of civil activists that would be able to implement any universal solution, prepare the necessary staff and the information support for the initiative, all with minimal expenses,” Georgy Kamnev concluded.
