Georgy Kamnev, first secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region, thinks that Konstantin Spiridonov and Victor Khomets can win the additional election to the City Duma in districts No. 17 and No. 19.

He reminded that two Communists – Oleg Shalyapin (elected in 2014 in district No. 1) and Alexander Trutnev (in district No. 11) – are already representing the people in the City Duma of the sixth convocation.

As the leader of the Penza Communists stressed, CPRF has an opportunity to double their representation in the Duma at the Unified Election Day of September 18.

“Both our candidates are worthy people. Konstantin Spiridonov was recently elected the first secretary of the CPRF Pervomaisky city area committee. He has to meet people a lot in his work, he is busy in computer repairs. Victor Khomets is a well-known civil activist protecting the rights of people in the Zheleznodorozhny city area. He comes from the working class. We hope to see the CPRF City Duma faction increase in size by two times,” Georgy Kamnev said.
