“This honorable step chosen by the Great Prince Vladimir played an enormous role in the history of hour country, defined the development of Russian statehood, unique native culture, and beautiful religious traditions,” he said.
According to the governor, the current Russian Patriarch Kirill helps reinforce the Orthodox faith and rejuvenate thousands of churches and hundreds of monasteries across Russia.

“We are glad to see the fruitful cooperation between secular and religious heads of the Penza region, who join forces to allow people to return to their ancestral faith and further the spiritual rebirth of the society. I believe that joining forces will allow us to retain and build upon the legacy of our ancestors, restore the power of our Fatherland and bring up a worthy new generation of true patriots of our great country!” Ivan Belozertsev added.

Also, the head of the region wished the Penza region citizens to be healthy, happy, enlightened in their spirits and prosperous in their lives, says the press service of the regional government.
