Penza, 21 May 2012. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev prohibited members of the government from using cell phones at work.

“Starting tomorrow coming at work all the officials are obliged to check in their personal means of communication, so that during the day they are engaged only in work,” the head of the region declared during operative meeting in the government on Monday, May 21.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, now every official spends about 60% of working hours on solving personal problems.

“If an official wants to work for the benefit of people, it is enough to have a workplace, a computer and a landline phone,” said the head of the region.

“If an official is noticed talking on a cell phone at work, he will be deprived of 100% monthly salary,” concluded Vasily Bochkarev.
