“The participants recalled their fellow-worker Viktor Ilyukhin, whose life path was too short for a politician of his kind. Without exception, they agreed that the time will make his deeds appreciated,” the press service of the regional committee of the Communist Party of Penza commented to news agency “PenzaNews.”
The communists took a moment of silence for Victor Ilyukhin at the end of the event.
“It should be mentioned again, that earlier the communists from Kostroma organized the All-Russian action “Flowers for Viktor Ilyukhin” at Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow. The delegates from across the country laid carnations bought for donated money at Viktor Ilyukhin’s monument. The event showed that Viktor Ilyukhin is alive and will live in the memory of our people,” the press service concluded.
