“Priority should be given to the native Russian language,” the press service of the regional government quotes the head of the region.

Currently, foreign words are widely used in names of various entertainment and other establishments located in the territory of Penza.

Among them are restaurants “Bierhaus,” “Beerville,” “Frau Gross,” “Liverpool,” “Palermo,” “Manhattan,” cafes “Esebua,” “ Jazz Café,” coffee shops “Fasion” and “London Street,” sushi-bars “Manga,” “Sushilka” and “Tokyo,” billiard rooms “Strike” and “Billiard Plaza,” business hotel “Heliopark Residence” and many others.

It is unknown yet, how the initiative of the Penza region governor was accepted by the owners of the places, and how the ministers will motivate managers of the well-known in the region restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques to refuse from widely promoted names and chosen styles.
