Penza, 15 April 2014. PenzaNews. The first level of granite blocks of Karl Marx monument was mounted at the intersection of Lermontova and Kuybysheva Streets in Penza. This was reported by the head of the city department of culture Vera Feygina during an operational meeting at the city administration on Tuesday, April 15.

She also said that the restoration of the bust has been completed at 60%.

Vera Feygina added that water and electricity issue on the monument site has been resolved.

“Temporary supply has been restored. In addition, the area of the square now has household premises for staff and concrete driveways,” the press service of the city administration quoted the head of the department of culture of Penza.
