Penza, 16 April 2014. PenzaNews. City mayor Yuri Alpatov identified three main problems to be solved in Penza.

“First of all, city beautification. I mean roads, sidewalks, parking lots, removal of solid and liquid wastes, as well as equipment of recreation zones,” he said during a meeting of the standing committee of the city administration on local governming, monitoring of agency activities and local government officials on Wednesday, 16 April.

Yuri Alpatov added that the second problem is related to the resettlement and maintenance of slum dwelling, as well as repair of multistorey houses.

“And thirdly, a problem of employment of the younger generation,” the head of the city said.

He stressed that the city has other problems, but these, in his opinion, are the most significant.
