As deputy chairman of the government of the Penza region Vladimir Maltsev informed the press, the refugees in question arrived to Penza from different areas of the south-east of Ukraine.

“If they have to stay here long enough, we will take steps to ensure that they have jobs, and will help finding people who are able to assist them,” he said.

Maltsev said that soon the Penza region will able to welcome new groups of refugees.

“Since the situation in Ukraine is not improving, our region is already to accommodate other refugees from the south-east of the country as proposed by the Ministry of Emergencies. If such a decision is made, we will welcome 120 people,” the deputy chairman of the regional government concluded.

As the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia told news agency “PenzaNews,” on Tuesday, July 22, a plane with 130 Ukrainian citizens on board flew from Simferopol to the Domodedovo airport in Moscow. Among them are 43 children under 12, including five infants. From the capital, they will be sent to the Bryansk, Ryazan, Tver and Kaluga regions.

Two more EMERCOM aircrafts delivered over 200 forcibly displaced people from Rostov-on-Don to Penza and Perm.
