Penza, 25 July 2014. PenzaNews. Social administration of Penza led and represented by Sergei Volkov signed a contract with a private sanatorium management agency “Penzaprofkurort” represented by General Director Valery Sidorov for the provision of temporary accommodation and food for people forced to leave the territory of Ukraine in 2014.

The contract price is 14.400 thousand rubles, of which 9,900 thousand rubles are provided for placing people in Kirov sanatorium, and another 4.500 thousand rubles — to provide them with four meals a day.

According to the contract signed on Thursday July 24, the services will be provided from July 22 to December 31, 2014.

The contract also contains an attachment of approved menu for each day of the week.

For example, on Mondays for breakfast, the refugees are offered meatballs with noodles, oat meal, coffee with milk and butter; at lunch — salad, pea soup (for children — rice soup with milk), cutlets with chicken and rice, and stewed fruit; as an afternoon snack — homemade scones and tea with lemon; for dinner — chopped zrazy with buckwheat, cottage cheese pie with jam and tea.

As the agency PenzaNews reported earlier, a special EMERCOM aircraft brought more than 100 Ukrainian refugees to Penza. All of them were temporarily lodged in the Kirov sanatorium.

The refugees underwent medical examination in the sanatorium, which included chest X-ray procedure, AIDS and STD blood tests, substance abuse checks, as well as anti-tuberculosis checks for underage Ukrainian escapees.

Earlier, Pavel Prohorenkov, head of the Penza region section of the Union of Journalists in Russia, addressed the citizens with a plea to assist the displaced Ukrainians. Those willing to help the refugees may come to the temporary lodging site (the Kirov sanatorium), or to the aid collection point led by “The Holy Cause” fund at Mirskaya street, 13.
