Penza, 29 July 2014. PenzaNews. The head of administration of Penza Yuri Krivov, setting tasks to subordinates during the weekly meeting in the mayor's office, his first such act in his office, reminded them of the importance to respect the principle of openness in government.

“We need to talk to people directly. Staying in constant contact with the population is our key task,” he stressed.

Yuri Krivov added that publicity is very important when making certain decisions.

He also stated that one of the priorities of local government is to stimulate self-organization in the community.

During the meeting, the mayor listened to reports of the heads of several departments and gave orders on a number of issues, including placement of Ukrainian refugee children, who arrived in the region, in schools and kindergartens, the press service of Penza administration informed.
