Penza doctors to be trained in oncology

Penza, 30 July 2014. PenzaNews. The Ministry of Health of the Penza region plans to organize professional training for doctors in oncology.

It is intended for 25 participants as a full-time class with day release.

It is expected that the classes will last for 6 hours per day, and the course duration will take 576 academic hours.

The training will engage doctors who majored in “medical care” or “pediatrics,” as well as “obstetrics and gynecology,” “therapy” or “surgery.”

The course will consist of theoretical and practical exercises. The participants will study general issues of cancer treatment, as well as train practical skills of diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

In addition, one of the objectives of the course is to prepare students for certification.
