During supervisory activities, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists of Mordovia and the Penza region found that an individual entrepreneur used pork without veterinary documents for barbecue.

As the press service of the department told news agency “PenzaNews,” the actions of the businessman posed a hazard to life and health of people, as well as created conditions for spreading infectious diseases among animals, including African swine fever.

“The individual entrepreneur was charged administrative offense under Part 1, Art. 10.8 of the Administrative Code ‘Violation of veterinary-sanitary rules for transportation, slaughter of animals or rules of treatment, storage or sale of animal products,’ and imposed a fine of 3 000 rubles. Potentially dangerous products were removed from sale,” the department said.
