Representatives of the City Duma and administration evaluated the technical condition of vehicles.

According to Yuri Ilyin, deputy head of Penza administration on city economy, part of machinery owned by relevant services is obsolete and should be replaced by modern models.

He also clarified that officially the winter season starts in Penza on Saturday, November 1.

“According to the contract with MUP ‘Penzadormost,’ this is the time when new types of work begin, such as snow removal,” he said.

In his turn, city head Viktor Kuvaytsev informed that in the near future, “Penzadormost” plans to purchase 10 machines.

He stressed that the city budget will not suffer from such decision.

“’Penzadormost’ performs street cleaning work according to the municipal contract, as well as does non-municipal work and receiving funds from extrabudgetary sources. Currently, when the year comes to an end, it found an opportunity to acquire new equipment and we’ll help,” Viktor Kuvaytsev explained.
