Nigerian patient hospitalized in Penza tested Ebola-negative

Penza, 29 October 2014. PenzaNews. The Nigerian student hospitalized in Penza this Monday, October 27, has been tested Ebola-negative, the official spokesperson for the regional Ministry of Health told PenzaNews agency in the evening of Wednesday, October 29.

“Today we learned that the lab samples taken from the Nigerian patient residing in the Penza regional special medical care center were tested negative,” he said.

According to him, this means that the patient will be treated against URTI.

“Due to lab results, those who contacted with the patient are no longer under observation,” the Penza region Ministry of Health spokesperson remarked.
