Penza, 20 November 2014. PenzaNews. Two deputy prime ministers of the Penza region government will be laid off, announced the governor Vasily Bochkarev on Thursday, November 20.

“Decided to lay off two deputy PMs in Penza region government,” wrote the head of the region in his Twitter.

However, Vasily Bochkarev did not clarify who exactly will be laid off.

Currently, the office of the first deputy prime minister of the Penza region government is taken by Vladimir Volkov, who supervises the Ministry of Investment Development and Business of the region and the overall investment policy.

There are six more deputy prime ministers in the government.

Vladimir Maltsev coordinates the Ministries of Health and Labor, Civis Status Division, the Department of Culture and Archive, and the regional sports committee.

Vyacheslav Orel supervises the Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry, the forestries of the region, the Department of Veterinary Medicine, and the Center of special protection and other land and water territories of the Penza region.

Valery Bespalov is responsible for the departments of innovation policy and special projects, industry and energy, the Penza city airport and all other relevant tasks.

Dmitry Semenov is responsible for such areas as the urban amenities policy, construction of water supply and sewage disposal facilities, as well as gas and heat units. He directs such regional administrations as the Ministry of Construction and Urban Amenities, Goszhilstroytekhinspection, and the Department of Construction and Roads.

Sergei Pulikovsky supervises the issues of cooperation between municipal authorities, civil and religious organizations, and law enforcement forces.

Alexei Ryabov works on social issues, including education.
