Unique “Blood Service” medical module to be installed in Penza

Penza, 25 November 2014. PenzaNews. A unique medical module “Blood Service” will be installed in Penza thanks to the state campaign provided for by a federal program.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Health informed PenzaNews agency, new medical equipment meets the state donor service requirements.
“Medical modules help modernize the process of preparing blood and its components by creating better conditions for the staff and providing a large variety of means to inspect and preserve donor blood,” the officials explained.
The press service also clarified that the module and the blood refrigerator will be financed both from federal and regional budgets. 153 million rubles will be allocated from the former, and 30 million – from the latter.
“Several regions of Russia have already been supplied their ‘Blood Service’ medical modules. The state is currently procuring the equipment for the Penza and Saratov regions, which will be ready for public in March 2015,” reported the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
